Chapada Diamantina National Park
With Vikki and the two English guys Ben and Pikey I went on a three-day hike in the national park Chapada Diamantina outside of Lençois. It was an amazing experience. There was a 300 meter high waterfall, which we saw both from above (looking out was pretty scary!) and below. We slept on the rocks, either in caves or under the stars. Every night, we'd see lots of shooting stars, and our guide would cook delicious food. :-) The last two days, I've been relaxing (recovering from a slight stomach problem - could it be the the pee-coloured river water we drank?) reading in the hammock or hanging out at the local waterfall + swimming pool.
