Getting ready for the long run
Slowly I'm trying to prepare my body for this year's Copenhagen Marathon. This Sunday, I ran 24 km. in two hours. To my surprise without any pain whatsoever.
This probably had something to do with the fact that I wasn't hung over (and thus dehydrated), I had had 8 hours of sleep and i had had breakfast.
It was a wonderful route, through Utterslev Mose, past Gentofte Sø, through Jægersborg and Dyrehaven and back to Copenhagen along Strandvejen.
My only concern now my left knee, which is hurting a bit. I'll take it easy for a couple of days, and hope it'll pass. :-)

Trapped in a digital world
I am currently surrounded by technology that doesn't work. A month ago, my firewire port (and consequently my CD burner) broke. I've had two dysfunctional Palms. Yesterday I got a data cable for my cell phone, and guess what? It doesn't work either. :-/
Why doesn't it work? I have no idea. It's really frustrating. And still, I'm a sucker for technology.
Quoting one of my present favorites, Donald Norman: "We are analog beings trapped in a digital world, and the worst part is, we did it to ourselves".
