Back on 9
After having used Mac OS X for almost two years, I have switched back to OS 9.
The idea surfaced after reading Donald Norman's brilliant "The Invisible Computer". He describes the peculiar process of software and hardware manufacturers making consumers buy new products that they don't really need. And what's worse, these new products are often bug-ridden and they haven't passed the test of regular use by regular people.
So far, I'm very satisfied with the switch. Nothing that I really need is missing in OS 9. And suddenly, my 500MHz iBook is a fast computer! Wonderful. :-) I have decided to try it out for a month. If I don't experience any major stability or compatibility problems, I'll stay with 9.

Media studies
Currently, I'm working with my friend Jesper on a group master's thesis in media studies at Aarhus University. More accurately, perhaps, I'm hanging out with Jesper, trying to get a basic idea of which topic we will choose. This includes: Playing pool, enjoying the spring sun sitting on the terrace with blankets and a book, getting drunk in the residence bar - among many other nice things.

Whenever I get the time, I'll make my university papers and notes available on this site.
